Emma Brotherton - Lost NINE stone!

After being slim for most of my adult life I started to pile the weight on after my dad died, as food helped me deal with the grief. Then I got pregnant and that piled on more. When my baby was born he was a difficult sleeper. To help deal with the stress, I comfort ate whatever I could get my hands on. The result was that I got to 20 stone.

I started my weight loss journey feeling like I had a mountain to climb but I told myself that every loss was going in the right direction, and I would never weigh that much again. With every stone lost came more confidence. So I enjoyed the journey rather than focusing on my target weight too much.
