Savoury High-Protein, Low-Carb Recipe: Chicken & Broccoli Stir-Fry

Chicken & Broccoli Stir-Fry

Packed with flavour and nutrients, this stir-fry is simple to prepare and uses only a handful of ingredients. It’s an excellent choice for a healthy and balanced meal.


Ingredients:

400g chicken breast, thinly sliced

300g broccoli florets

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon soy sauce (low-sodium)

1 tablespoon oyster sauce

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger

Salt and pepper to taste

A pinch of chilli flakes (optional)


Instructions:

Prepare the Ingredients: Ensure the chicken is thinly sliced and the broccoli is cut into bite-sized florets for even cooking.

Cook the Chicken: Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large frying pan or wok over medium-high heat. Add the sliced chicken and cook until golden and cooked through. Remove from the pan and set aside.

Stir-Fry the Broccoli: In the same pan, add the remaining olive oil. Add the garlic and ginger, cooking for about 30 seconds until fragrant. Add the broccoli florets and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they are tender-crisp.

Combine Ingredients: Return the chicken to the pan with the broccoli. Add the soy sauce, oyster sauce, and a pinch of chilli flakes if using. Stir well to coat everything evenly and heat through for another 2 minutes.

Serve: Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot, garnished with more chilli flakes if desired.
