A meal replacement is a single portion formulated to stand in for a whole meal rather than to supplement one. That means it carries the protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals the meal would have given you — typically around 200 kcal — so you eat fewer calories without going short on nutrition. It is the difference between eating less and simply skipping a meal.

That depends on your plan, not on the product. The Total Plan uses four a day; the Everyday Plan and Active Plan use two, alongside a meal you cook yourself and a snack. Any product from any of our categories can fill one of those slots, so you are free to mix shakes, bars, soups, breakfasts and hot meals across the week.

It depends on your plan and your starting point. Total Plan customers typically lose 2–4 lb a week in the early weeks; the Everyday Plan is more gradual. The first week is often larger as the body sheds water. Steadier loss is generally the kind that stays off — see how it works for the reasoning.
