We love the Shake That Weight community. It’s a fantastically supportive and enthusiastic bunch, and we regularly learn as much from them as they (hopefully) do from us. And often they completely surprise us.
That happened recently when over on our Facebook group we saw that some creative dieters were using our porridge in a rather unusual way – to make cookies.
That’s right; you might think cookies are off the menu when trying to lose weight, but it turns out that’s not necessarily the case. By using the method below, you can replace one of your other products with some super tasty chocolate or original flavour cookies.
Here’s what you need to do:
- Grab some delicious chocolate porridge*
- Mix with water until a nice, thick consistency
- Divide into 4 round circles and place on greaseproof paper or a non-stick baking tray
- Bake for about 10 minutes at 180C

And it’s as simple as that! Of course our porridge is delicious as it is, but by doing this, you can mix things up a bit, and it feels like you’re having a tasty little treat – and all for around 150 calories.
These cookies seem to have gone down a treat with some of you, and we’ve given them a go as well and can confirm they’re delicious! Just remember that these will have to replace one of your other products, and shouldn’t be used as an extra – check your diet plan to check how many products you’re allowed per day.
