Creamy Garlic Prawn Skillet

With minimal ingredients and maximum flavor, this creamy prawn dish offers a wonderful blend of garlic and herbs that elevate the prawns to a new level of deliciousness.


Ingredients:

400g prawns, peeled and deveined

2 tablespoons olive oil

3 cloves garlic, minced

200ml double cream

30g Parmesan cheese, grated

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Juice of half a lemon

Salt and black pepper to taste

Lemon wedges for garnish (optional)


Instructions:

Sauté the Garlic: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and sauté for about 1 minute, or until fragrant.

Cook the Prawns: Add the prawns to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are cooked through. Remove the prawns from the skillet and set aside.

Make the Sauce: In the same skillet, lower the heat and pour in the double cream. Stir in the Parmesan cheese and lemon juice, cooking until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine and Season: Return the prawns to the skillet, tossing them in the creamy sauce. Season with salt and pepper to taste and allow everything to heat through gently.

Serve: Sprinkle with chopped parsley and serve immediately, accompanied by lemon wedges if desired.
