How our plans work

Shake That Weight is a Very Low-Calorie Diet or VLCD. It works by providing you with 3 or 4 low calorie, nutritionally complete meals per day.  These meals stave off hunger whilst still creating a calorie deficit.

This means you’ll find it easier to stick to the plan and lose weight once and for all.

Frequently asked questions

Is this plan Keto friendly? What if I want to achieve ketosis?

All Shake That Weight diet plans can result in ketosis/release of ketones. If you are looking specifically to achieve ketosis then you should limit your carbs from our products to 60g per day. This is easily done with our shakes and the ready meals. Read more about specific keto plans here: Women | Men

How much walking/exercise can I do on each plan?

You can do light exercise on any plan such as walking, cycling or swimming. If you are doing moderate levels of exercise, we recommend the “with meal” plan as the calorie count is slightly higher to compensate and allow you more energy to exercise. Strenuous exercise is not recommended on any of our plans.

When will I get my order?

Orders are packed Monday – Friday and if placed before 3pm they get sent out the same day. Your delivery timeline will depend on your chosen shipping method and this is shown at the checkout.

How many calories should my self-prepared meal be?

Your meal should be 400 calories for women and 600 calories for men.

Are the shakes/meals gluten free?

We do have gluten free shakes and meals, just look for the gluten free symbol:

Food is actually so nice! Wasn’t expecting much as essentially you’re just adding water to most of the main dishes but they are really nice and full of flavour. Also surprisingly filling!
